The Apollo Theater

As the largest performing arts institution dedicated to Black culture and creativity, the Apollo Theater has a mission to celebrate and amplify Black artists and voices from across the African Diaspora. With a wide-ranging program that spans its main stage and the Apollo Music Cafe, the theater needed cohesive event designs to honor its heritage while inspiring contemporary audiences and supporting emerging artists in an intimate, innovative environment.

The work included extending the identity system of the iconic theater and developing a visual language for the Apollo Music Cafe, blending tradition with fresh, bold aesthetics that resonate with the theater’s mission. All materials design were crafted to elevate the Apollo brand for its audience and in the Harlem neighborhood.
