Asenya’s products draw inspiration from West Africa’s rich cultural heritage, specifically the Adinkra symbols, one of the continent’s most iconic and meaningful writing systems. The challenge was to transform these deeply symbolic pictographs and ideograms into functional art and home furnishings that honor their cultural significance and appeal to a contemporary audience.
